Description

Sets the store's origin and base cell, builds it through FOrreryTerrainTileStoreBuilder::BuildFromRaster, records the GeoOrigin (the CRS and the position of base post (0, 0) of tile (0, 0)) and the provenance (GeoTiff, the paths, the input hash), and dirties the package. Does not save it.

Parameters

NameTypeDefaultMeaning
Pathsconst TArray<FString>&—

Absolute paths. With several, the first file wins where they overlap and gaps are nodata.

StoreUOrreryTerrainTileStoreAsset*—

The asset to fill. Its grid origin and base cell are overwritten; its resident level and edit subdivision are kept.

Optionsconst FOrreryDemImportOptions&—

Decimation, placement overrides, nodata policy, memory budget, mips and compression.

ReportFOrreryDemImportReport&—

Counts, placement and timing, or the reason for a refusal. A refusal leaves Store as it was.

Returns

false for a file that cannot be opened or that v1 refuses, files not on one grid, a cell outside 0.25..16 m, more nodata than allowed or a decimated row with none, an import over the memory budget, or a failed build.

Note.

Game thread, editor only. Blocks are decoded on worker threads.
